I've just bought Icewind dale, so that I can play HoW...well this is the problem: I can't play 'cus: An Assertion failed in ChDimm.cpp at line number 582 Programmer says: Unable to Open Bif:data\GUImos.bif...what the fu*k does that mean???
something similar to that happend to me. As soon as I rested and pressed q to quicksave it (about 1 millionth of a second after resting) that ChDimm.cpp happend to me. Try screwing around with the graphics settings

I believe a .cpp error is related to the main program, since .cpp means C++.
I have had this error before and the only way that I could correct it was to blast it off the hard drive and re-install
