Legendary Weapon Descriptions.

Post by Sir_Greyhawk »

I looked at the Legendary Weapons in the Equipment Database and noticed that none of the TLC only weapons have descriptions. Since im a curious git I just wanted to know if anyone knew what they were, because I find them all very interesting, I really like the story of Arken's Corssbow and The Harbinger :D .

(Weapons theres no Descriptions for:
Orkon's Club
Avo's Tear
The Avenger
The Bereaver)
"Tell me what you regard as your greatest strength, so I will know how best to undermine you; tell me of your greatest fear, so I will know which I must force you to face; tell me what you cherish most, so I will know what to take from you; and tell me what you crave, so that I might deny you."

I believe those weapons don't have descriptions in the database because they weren't given descriptions in the game (or at least in the PC version).

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Those aren't posted?!
I'll try to do this from memory so forgive me if the descriptions are a bit general.
Orkon's Club: Orkon was a small man. So small in fact, he was often mistaken for a a Hobbe. He killed those who mocked him with his club.
Avo's Tear: The "light side" equal to the Sword of Aeons, Avo's Tear was created by a powerful mage (I forget his name), who sacrificed himself to close a dark portal that was about to destroy Bowerstone. More info on this sword can be found at the four graves in the Guild, and in the book, "The History of The Guild" found in Maze's chamber.
I don't remember much about the other two, other than The Avenger's story is similair to that of Arken's Crossbow. (created for revenge, hence the name)
When all else fails, try brute force.

If somebody wants to type out the exact descriptions, then we'll add them to the database.

Avo's Tear:
This Sword was imbued with extraordinary power when the Guild Mage Solcius used it in a spell to close a large vortex. For a long time, it has existed only as a myth among acolytes. It's strength rivals even the Sword of Aeons.

Orkon's Club:
Often mistaken for a Hobbe, and sometimes a baby Troll, Orkon was a diminutivewarrior who shunned society and lived in the mountains. Enemies would sometimes laugh as they saw his small form charging towards them with this club in his hand. It was usually the last thing they did.

The Avenger:
This mystical weapon belonged to Wheldon, a Hero whose family and home were ripped to pieces by demonic creatures. Wheldon made a bargain with a necromancer: he would trade his life for a Sword strong enough to kill every last one of those beings. The Hero's heart was placed in the center of the blade, and when his revenge was complete it became part of the steel, as Wheldon's lifeless body fell to the ground.

The Bereaver:
The origins of this broadsword are soaked in mystery, as well as blood. Though it is thought to have been wielded by one of the Guild's most evil Heroes, no record has been found of his name. Some say it belonged not to a man but to ademon, and that is why it gleams with the fires of hell.
hmm...
Spoiler
if you're reding this you have no life.

I have them all now. *Loves collecting them all*
Who else was disapointed with Orkons club? I was at least expecting it to be equal with Dollmaster's Mace. It looks like they created it as a Joke. Its only worth 100 Gold and it looks like a small wooden spoon in your hand....
The others are awsome though
