Definitely, as Rookierookie points out. There's quite a bit to be found, too, and some to be stolen. There are even PC-based mods that add more in, and I think at least one or two let you make it.

the best is glass. If you are in the Fighters Guild, do jobs for the guild in Ald'ruhn (I can't remember the dude's name) At one point he will give you the key to his office and inside some chests are pieces of glass armor. Also, in Ghostgate, there is an armorer who sells in. Get some expensive daedric weapons and barter with him. It is very expensive, but bartering will be good.

The Best Medium Cuirass, a unique item, is the Ebony Mail (not to be confused with Ebony Armor).

Remember that each piece of the very best armors (such as Glass) also can hold a reasonably good enchantment. So after you get a piece of armor you want to keep, consider having it enchanted with something you think you'll need regularly and don't want to waste mana on.
Ty all, one last question where is someone that can train me in light armour? (list all known people and locations)
(NO)
There is one guy in balamor at eight plates (across the street from The razor hole) that trains light armor, he is standing by the bar. Other light armor trainers can be found in different thief guild´s.

I got Morrowind on Xbox.
Use the ordinator armor worn by ordinators in vivec, it is the best, they have really good shields too. and all their other armor is like 150 or something like that. I have had this armor since the beginning of the game and I have never found any better armor. and then you can enchant it which is a plus. and how'd you get over 1 million Gold?

It isn't. Ordinator cuirasses, for example, are 45. Ebony is 60, Daedric is 80, Glass is 50--and much lighter than the rest. These differences carry across to other body parts, as well. Ordinator armor is good for medium armor, but that's only because there isn't much competition in the basic game. It's really poor in protection when compared to heavy and light armors--unless you buy the MW add-ons, then you'll find far better medium armor available.

My ordinator cuirass is 150 and it's not enchanted....are you sure you aren't talking aboutthe "high" ordinator cuirass....all of the armor carried by the lower ordinators has an armor rating of 150.

Are you sure you're not looking at a combination of armor rating and your character's medium armor skill? The figures I gave you before came from one list, but then I found the following cuirass values, drawn from this FAQ that is pretty widely used. These are right, and I remember finding identical values in Morrowind:
Daedric: 133
Ebony: 100
Glass: 83
Indoril: 75 (Ordinator)
Her Hand's Cuirass gives you 116, but it's worn by High Ordinators in Tribunal, and the Ice Armor Cuirass comes in at 83 in Bloodmoon. If you don't have those add-ons, you're stuck with 75 as the best armor protection at the medium skill. Both heavy and light are better in the basic game, heavy for its protection, light for its--well, lightness.
