How they know everything .... the first line in your first conversation with Jack is "The rain of ages plot again to wash away revelation" ....
And the reactions of several NPC's when they find out you are a Malkavian are just great, Ming's surpise when you call her Mistress of Mirrors was gold, as was Skelter's reaction. Well, most NPC's with more then a few lines of dialogue seemed to have some special reaction. Nicely done, Troika!
"A dark shadow, a curious hare and the pillar ablaze in the night sky"
"For one so unlike a whale, you blubber well."
"I WANT IT OPEN! Who am I?"
"I saw words, but nothing I knew passed by"
"Your words just might unlock my secret places"
"Allright, I'm a fish. Where's the hook?"

"And they know it was you."
"Too many of us migh set them off like fundamentalists on contrary opinion."
you know, i thought that malkavians were the best thing ever
until i got level 5 thaumaturgy on my tremere.... whooooo hooooo
not only do your enemies MELT away, your other magicks get more potent (blood salvo's cone increases and you just see 7 streaks of blood filling you up from almost empty)
blood strike starts retruning blood too (at lvl 4 tho)...
phew!!
but yeah. too bad dementation level 5 is not so crazy at least i dont think so

actually, blood strike and blood salvo always return blood to you as long as you do not move between using it and the blood coming back. whether or not blood returns is independent of the level. i do agree that thaumaturgy is a lot better in my opinion than dementation (which is very similar to domination anyway), but obfuscate combined with dementation is a very powerful force - you can do the whole warehouse without one single thug even knowing you are there if you have level 2 or 3 obfuscate and level 3 dementation (just feed off the last one standing in each bit to keep blood levels up).
tremere are probably my favourite discipline wise and how they look, but i have to admit the hilarious dialogue alone more than makes up for it with malkavians.

Does that yield funny lines? Or enhance the dialogue?
Hey this a pro-Malkavian topic! There is nothing better then a Malkavian, there shall be nothing better Malkavians and anyone who says otherwise shall be dissociated.

Well, great reason 2,412,781,257 to play a Malkavian: You get to say crazy stuff you wish you could get away with saying in real life. If you went around saying stuff half as nutty as what the Malks get away with you'd be locked in a padded cell.
i just love how in the beginning you know the names of ppl before they introduce themselves. man, i never hear those voices and i'm almost done with the game.
and yeah, jack's reaction in the beginning is just awesome.
I want someone to give me some specific places in the game where I can hear voices. I have played back through all of my save games as a Malk, and have only heard the arsenic voice in the Surfside diner. Where else?
There isn't any specific place. Obviously, for the TV to talk to you, you have to be in your haven with the TV on, but just being there doesn't of necessity mean your TV will talk to you. It's kind of a random thing. Just wander around in the weird world of the malk, and wait for weird things to happen to you. You are, after all insane, and insanity is inherentlly unpredictable. If you could pick and choose when and what happened to you, you'd be sane.
