Another Dragon Armor issue

Post by Boppa »

I have the belt, gloves, shield and heart. According to the walkthrough on your site, I am supposed to be able to talk to King Dunatrim who will tell me to go and see the snob Sir Patrick in Verdistis. So far, the good old King only wants to talk about is whether I have seen the River of Gold. Our friend Patrick knows nothing about this Dragon Armor at this point. What am I missing to remind the King to talk about the Breastplate of Dragon?????? No use in talking to the Kings brother in the Dwarven Village - he is still stoned on Ale!!

I would tell you, but the solution has a spoiler. So tell me, how far in the game have you gotten? If you haven't gotten far enough in the main storyline, you won't be able to get the breastplate.

SPOILERS follow. Highlight to read:
Spoiler
You have to retrieve the Axe of Stone and a book, both of which are just where he'd hinted you should check. ;) Once you've returned these to him, the King will be more forthcoming.

It is immaterial now, as I have kicked the ass of the bad dude at end game. I was pretty far along in the game when I posed this question (having acquired the 4 items I had). I never did finalize the Dragon Armor stuff but I guess it was not all that important to the end game. It was mostly a matter of curiousity as to how this was supposed to be accomplished. Thank you for your reply (so, what was the spoiler?) !!!!

I'd imagine it was the one I listed, right below his post. ;)
