Is there something missing?

Hi Guys

With the completion of BG-SoA, I went out and got myself Icewind Dale & Heart of Winter (I realised that the latter would improve the screen resolution for both products)

I don't know if it's just me, but IWD really seems so inferior to BG-SoA? I'm only about half way through IWD but, well, I got to admit I am bored

I appreciate that it's not perhaps out there to compete with SoA, but it does seem to lack something.

Does anyone else get these vibes?

The two games are at the extreme end of each other..

IWD = Hack and Slash

BG2 = More on the interaction of the NPC and story line.

I guess that's where I was going wrong. They look the same and play the same. It's just a shame they don't feel the same
