Starting Trials of the Luremaster?

Can you start the Trials of the Luremaster expansion after finishing Heart of Winter or you must do it before you finish HoW? I just finished it and the game kicks you back to the main menu.

After you install TotL, a halfling man appears in the inn in Lonelywoods. You talk to him & he transports you to the TotL area. So you can only do TotL while you are in Lonelywoods. If you've finished the game just start a new game - expansion only and import your characters, you automatically start in Lonelywoods but you will be limited to the HoW & the TotL areas.
