Eggs ?

Post by BadMutha »

When in walking soo beautiful dragon fire area, i stubled on some eggs, and so i collected ´em ALL... Now i feel ashamed because i take them em all from the nests, an as i see (after days) they dont seem to spawn anymore... Is that a reason -NO MORE FIRE DRAKES- ?
Summer is beautiful ..... i am NOT .

I don't think so. I guess I haven't really tested it though. It seems drakes spawn mostly at night and I've usually found them north of the nesting area not in the nesting area proper. If you run north of the nesting area I usually find them in the area where the terrain becomes flat. D

I did that in an earlier game, and guess what? no more dragons! but then, they spawn when, and where they will... not necessarily in the actual breeding grounds...

Funny, but I kinda thought the same thing, although I wasn't guilty, I'm a Darwinian! You know, survival of the fittest, man! I was just wondering if taking all the eggs affected their spawn rate, as it seemed to slow down after I took them, and I wanted to hunt more of the bastards! I tried to put an egg back, but it will just disappear when you leave the nest. Anyway, I think they stopped spawning so much, not because I took all the eggs, but because I decimated them, which I did right before I took all the eggs. I still like to drop my remaining egg in a nest to taunt them into coming back after I have been unsuccessfully trying to find one for a while...and it seems to work!

Nevertheless, it also seems that if you carry a Drake egg with you when you get to the Forbidden Lands, and to the Vale of Ruin, Drakes will spawn in both places--presumably to get revenge on you for stealing their eggs--but only sporadically.
