I've bought Icewind Dale and Heart of Winter and I have to say I'm impressed. It is a difficult game (I'm having problems on the lower half of the Vale of Shadows temple bit, I keep getting whacked, :mad: :mad: ) but otherwise I like. I'm downloading Trials aswell, looks good! :D :D

I really like the begining part up to the Shadowvale Temples. Some of the dungeons are really nice, too. :)

I definitely agree. So far it's really entertaining but having an Elven mage is a pain in the ass (Low HP and only Resurrection works on him :mad: :mad: :D )

Out of curiosity, what party are you running?

This is why I use Half-Elves instead of Elves. I went through the last 75% of the Vale of Shadows with only 2 members of my party actually alive once because I ran out of money from resurrecting my elf. :eek:

I have 2 main tanks, a Paladin and a Dwarven Fighter, a Half-Elven Ranger, Human Cleric, Elven Mage and a Halfling thief. A lot of race stereotypes I know...

2 male human fighters, both utterly stupid and unwise;
1 halfling thief;
plus the others.

I think my party has alot of stereotypes.

1 male dwarf cleric
1 female elf bard
1 male human wizard

This is what I've made my party up of - maybe to little healing :)

Just complete Shadowvale :)

I like this game, it reminds me somewhat of Eye of the Beholder I :D

It is nice, but hard to start a low level party - but they are already around lvl. 5 so it is going fast :)

Hmm... my party:

1 human male paladin
1 human male ranger
1 human female cleric
1 human female thief
1 human male mage
1 human female mage

No diversity in races but just the right blend of classes. The paladin can get himself healed at higher levels and the ranger too (albeit to a much lesser extent) and the mages give loads of firepower...

gone through the game three times now in quick succession with a similar party and I love it...

My part of the party:
1 elven or half elf female ranger (I don't remember and I'm too lazy to check)
1 male human bard
1 male human fighter/cleric (dualed as soon as I had put 5* in sling)

Husband's part of the party:
1 dwarwen female fighter
1 elven male thief/mage (or was it a dualed human?)
1 halfling female thief

The bard is a very powerful class in this game...
