Guild of Mystery

Just one question. How do you proceed into the guild of mystery? i obtained the treasure map and then i delivered it to vartugg and then nothing else, did i do something wrong, the only other guild i am in is the eastern houses

It sounds like you just need to talk to a guildmaster, either Mundruff in Vartugg's fortress or the lady in the curio shoppe in Fargrove. Either one should offer you a quest for a second tier class.

i did go to both of them, and there was no class promotion, i guess you can't have the eastern houses and the guild of mystery both under your belt?

That's the problem. You can't select an Eastern rogue class and continue on in the Guild of Mystery.
