frame rate

pls I need help.
i have installed KOTOR on my notebook, P4 3.0, 512MB RAM, ati mobility 64MB(not taken from RAM), windows XP prof.
the problem is, that the game is simply unplayable. it is like 1frame/s.
what do I have to do?? I have 1.03 patch.
on my cel 2.0, 1G ram ,geforce 128MB wond 2000 it´s runing prefectly?

have you checked if your pc meets the minimum system requirements, are all the drivers uptodate, is directx up to date, and have you tried it on the lowest graphics settings?

of course. it said that it would welcome more ram on video card, but it would work anyway.
my friend is playing it on 1Ghz , M256B and 64mb v-ram, without problems.
