Favourite weapon type.

What is everyones favourite weapon type? Mine is longsword though i don't know why.

Since I play a Nord, I tend to use axes more than anything. It just seems normal for a Nord. But I have many weapon skills listed as "major skills." I have the most fun using a dwemer crossbow.

My Breton Guild Mage mainly uses a short blade, as any self respecting mage-thief would.

Yep! I have a large collection of bows in my house. There's nothing quite so fun as sneaking around with your bow

Though I like swords and blunt weapons for mele.

I have used the Sunder ever since I got it. 80 points damage, you can't not use it. But before I never put the Sunder down, my favorite weapon was the Glass Claymore. I also like Glass Longswords with enchantments of somekind. So I guess Long Swords are my favorite, but the Sunder OWNS.

I think longblades are the coolest! If there were dual short blade though I'd definetly go for that. Think of all the carnage I could create!:mischief:

definatley long blades. now i dont know what sunder is, but i know what umbra, chrysamere, and the daedeic dai-katana are, and those are 3 of the most powerful melee weapons n the game. ESPECIALLY UMBRA

Uhhhhh.....well, if you spend about 2 minutes at the construction engine, it can be done. Just load up morrowind, tribunal, or whatever file contains your favourite shortblade in it, then go to armor, create a new item, and instead of using a shield mesh, you can sometimes just put in one of said blade. I mean, sure it isn't actually dual wielding, but it looks really sweet when you take screenshots Oh, and that's just for PC, not the BOX

Oh yeah, and voted long blade too, those things are sweet.

Yay Longswords!

Definitely a one handed longsword kind of girl. Lets me handle another weapon or a shield, does decent damage ads had good reach. As any assassin would, I like my deaths swift and silent.

I own a large collection of longswords, mainly glass or ebony, but my two favorites are my frost enchented glass longsword and my deadric two handed long sword....

my absolute favorite is my daedric dai katana enchanted with 40-75 fire damage(dremoras go in one hit) on my level 33 khajiit

I love the dwarven claymore, because it does alot of damage. There just isn't anything like killing a guard with a claymore, uhhh the memories....

Mmm, Goldbrand. The only thing I use since I've found it. I cannot part with it simply. I think it's more sentimental now than anything else.

I'm an Axe using Nord. That doesn't really stop me though from using the Daedric Claymore or Mace of Molag Bal and, from time to time, a little bow...

Daedric Crescent is 3rd
I like sunder and goldbrand better than 2-handers b/c u can use your shield to block

I've noticed that no one likes spears here. Why is that? I can understand why no one likes unarmed but spears are pretty good if you want to keep your distance.
