I am playing v1.4 and I have noticed that I don't get the ultra-rapid sword play when I jump anymore... I used to jump and rapidly 'strike' and I could kill a chunneler (sp?) in one jump if I timed it right... now I get maybe 2 or 3 swings when I jump - nice... but nothing special... and I was wondering if there was a limit on the jump-kick with ninjutsu... I used to jump and do a multi-kick and kill a minotaur in one jump with about 10 kicks...

I know what you mean. i would beat the faces of any minatours and chunnelers into a pancake with my feet. Perhaps they saw it as a unfair advantage. Nevertheless, i still utilize this tactic and I get more than just 2 or 3 swings. i would say i got about 5 or 6 with a sword of death and my character's speed was 272. athough, i can still do the backward walk while swinging my sword up and down. i would use this when being followed by bees or bats.
i also noticed that my character would stun monters more often with his crushing blow skill at 8. i managed to beat down several fire drakes without having to use a single healing potion (i was using the fire ward celestial spell and each drake was killed on seperate occasions).

Actually, the super fast swing with jumps and backing up was a bug. Seems they fixed it. Can't speak for the kicking as I haven't tried a Ninjitsu character yet...

It was a bug that should have been left intact. :) It made killing those hordes of minotaurs a lot easier.
