Brick problems

Post by Frodo1 »

I just started playing the collector's edition and I'm having trouble with loose bricks not showing giving the option to open them. I see the bricks, but for the most part, they don't allow me to click on them. This happened with the brick in the theatre and the new brick in the temple catacombs. The brick in the temple catacombs underlevel didn't show up at first, but then I passed by it again and it did show up the second time. This is only 3 bricks, but something seems to be up.

The loose brick in the theater is broken.

There are two bricks in the catacombs. Neither one is new. I detected both of them last night with a scout skill of 2. If you haven't put any points into scout yet, that's probably the problem.

Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

I know that the theatre brick doesn't do anything, however, it was always clickable. That is my problem. That I don't get the option to click on the brick whether it works or not. I found all three bricks that I mentioned, but I just didn't get the option to use them. Even the most hidden brick or lever will work if you stand right in front of it and push it. Or, is it that you now need a certain level of scout for your character to recognize the item you want to interact with? That would be a new feature of the c.e.

My scout was only at 1 at the time. I bet that's what it is. That scout is necessary at a certain level now to "find" and use bricks that you can see on your computer screen.

Thanks, SWC

Using CE, I was unable to detect the Theatre brick with a Scout of 3.

I was able to detect the bricks in the Catacombs with a Scout of 2.
