Rav, did you end up finding a small netbeans, or should I download the 132mb one?
No, I didn't. Though I didn't search for that long....

@Slade, thanks. :)
And I took a break from graphics design...to do some pseudocode instead...yeah, *actual* work. :D ;)

Alright then, I'll get the 132mb cranked up.

Sorry I can't stay, but I'll be back in half an hour or so, and I have a cranky cat who is demanding food. He has this strange thing, where he will just run full pelt throughout the house, growling really loudly, and continue to do so until he smashes into something... usually my door, where he then just sits calmly under my bed.

So seeyas soon.

And slade, unlucky about the comp mate, it's a bugger when it happens.

@Rav: I HATE Pseudocode... I never understood it, and never will. :rolleyes:

It was that or a database, UML diagrams, Java. Or worst of all Human/Computer Interface issues. I think I chose the easy task... :p ;)

@Slade, you will... :)

LOL. A great description if ever I saw one... :D

It's a basis for writing a computer program, it's a planning stage. Not as complex as the code itself (IMO).

My interpretation of pseudocode:
Chocolate is good. Pizza is good. Chocolate pizza is not.

Coding is good. English is good. English-coding (Pseudocode) is not. ;)

I'll have to disagree with you there. Pseudocode is far less detailed. It appeals to lazier people such as myself. ;)
If I tried to write it in Java, I'd be more likely to get hopelessly lost trying to do something simple that I've suddenly forgotten. :rolleyes:

I'm not surprised, it's just me. I have an aversion to planning.

Last year, when we were doing the html course, I made the website, finished it to my satisfaction, and then did the design stage where I showed what was on each page.

I just prefer getting stuck in, and getting it done, rather than beating around the bush.

Oh, I know plenty of people who can't stand Pseudocode, you're not alone. :p
I'm just not that confident with programming to be honest, it's something that I won't be persuing I think.

Trust me, I cannot stand design stages either. I detest making storyboards and the like.
I just happen to have a reasonable talent at Pseudocode, that doesn't mean I use it much, though it crops up in exams.

It is, I had some in Dallas like 5 years ago actually. Crappy fast-food pizza, but it was a dessert pizza, and it was a $8 all you can eat buffet. Chocolate sauce with vanilla frosting pizza. It was great! :p

Yeah, well I rely on my knowledge, and look on the net for the rest. I just don't understand Pseudo.

Okay then Mag, change it to strawberries + Pizza.

And Rav, I'm installing netbeans now, it finished downloading.

Storyboards, that's the word I was looking for. I think it's also that I have appaling handwriting (not as bad), and a bad hand for drawing. My storyboards generally look pathetic, so that doesn't help.

Uh oh. I think that it will probably pop up in our exams... which means I have to learn it... which means I have to do it... which means that sucks. :D :D

Meh, I could make that word. Pizza crust is just bread dough. You put a little sugar in the dough, and it's sweet bread crust. Toss strawberries on it, and drizzle some hot fudge, your in business. :laugh:
