problem with frame freezes and "blank-screen-blinks"
I was playing v1.3 and didn't have my Norton auto-scan/auto-update turned off and my game would lock up and I would have to do a hard-reboot and soon I started getting black-screen 'blinks' for lack of a better term and real 'jumpy' or hesitant character movement (no, not like the pauses when something bad is spawining...) well, I got the CE and uninstalled the v1.4 and installed the CE and there were no game in my save menu... but my last character from v1.4 came up on the play-new-character screen - name and all! so, I made a new character, and guess what... same old crappy blinks and hesitant movement... did I forget to uninstall some file that was corrupt and left over from the uninstall? whew... sorry but I am not happy with the jerkiness of my new CE game...
Well you didnt uninstall the first Dungeon Lords 1.4 correctly and now you have a mess.
Start over uninstall DLCE and DL 1.4, check you Control Panel Add and Remove Programs and use you Windows Explorer to specificly look at the directories after you uninstall, delete every folder of DL or DLCE.
If you know how to check your regestry for entries do that as well, if not try your reinstall.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
