Trial of Elders Question

Post by dlowrey »

In the last room of the Trial of Elders, the Walkthrough says there are three "waves" of bad guys to fight.

What defines a "wave"? Is there a finite number of spirits or time in a wave?

Interesting point: if I press E to recuperate HP and regenerate spells, the spirits still materialize on the platforms while I am resting....

There are more than 3 waves of monsters but there are 3 varieties of spirits.
There are the archers, ones with the two-handed sword, and finally ones that wield katanas.

What I found that helps is to run around the room along the wall. As you're running, the spirits fling spells at you and often hit each other. Eventually, they'll weaken themselves and a maybe a few will have died.

Is there a specific number of them that spawn, or do they keep spawning till I have killed them all?

If I run around the outside wall, will I eventually end up with a room full fo spirits?

Only a fixed number spawn. I've heard people say that they just let the spirits spawn, and they run around while the wizard kills them with his fire spells. But I've never tried it myself.
