Matukai Adept Robes, where are they ?`

I have played this game many, many times, and i've actually come upon just about every item but the Matukai Adept Robe. I have gonne to some merchants and reloaded the games over and over in hopes of getting this item, but i've never ever seen it. Does anyone know any places where they've gotten them in the past. I know that it's random, but certain items can only appear in certain places (you dont get a solari crystal in a normal average container). Thanx

I've always received the robes, every game, and use them because I am a constitution freak. I would think that you've recieved them before at least once.

From what I know, they are random. Don't go so far as to quote me on that one, as I might be wrong, but I am almost positive that it is a fully randomized item.

its definately random as my last game i had 5 of the things and was getting fed up with them lol. every game i get a lot of different stuff so i'm sure you'll come across them eventually

I also think they're random, but except some really rare items (like the Ultima Pearl which I only recieved once), you should get nearly every item during the game.
And if you don't get those Matukai robes, try a Jal Shey armor with strengthening underlay.

You are more likely to get them at a high level... You get better items at a high level.

For example, levelling up to level 45 on Peragus allows you to get verpine prototype shields, jedi master robes etc.

Try leveling up before opening boxes...

I understood that the contents of boxes were set the firsttime you entered an area? If that's true, levelling up before opening boxes should have no effect?

I've gotten the Matukai apprentice robes every time, but not the adept robes, it's wierd, cause i've played it many times, but i'll keep trying.

it might just be the way things have worked out in previous games. i've just found grey jedi robes for the first time ever (in a store on nar shaddaa) and they appeared after a reload cos i messed up the conversation first time so reloaded after looking at the store. they were not there then they appeared after the reload. so try saving before accessing stores and reloading as sometimes the inventory changes so the adept robes may appear
