Post by Theoris »

dunno about the organs, but seeing as they are actually dead i guess their heart no longer beats. i'm no expert on vampire lore either but i always assumed they function as a result of the 'magic' of the blood and the curse that is on them. they don't really have a need for organs as they don't have to eat or drink (except blood of course).

They would throw it up...A few kainites can hold it up for some time, which is especially nice for upholding the Masquerade, but usually a vampire can't hold any meals or drinks up for more then a few minutes.

Your digestive system isn't working anymore, no digestive acids, no bowel movements...nothing. It's more or less the same as you: Dead Meat.

The blood is another matter, the vitae ( as they call it ) is kind of magical in it's own way. Kainites can use body osmosis though to give them a more healthy look if they want to ( costing bloodpoints though ), i.e. red cheeks, warm lips, working sexual organs. Again, those things are nice for upholding the Masquerade.

A heartbeat might be harder to fake. And I think it's not possible with game mechanics, but I might err on that. Maybe during the feeding ? to transport the blood through the body.....

The forum is for the game, VTM Bloodlines. If you want to discuss vampires, I suggest you go to SYM (Speak Your Mind), our forum for spamming, serious information, and, of course, vampires.
