Each chapters bonus?

Do you have to rest during each chapter to get its bonus? i just went though chapter 6 without resting, then i started 7 and rested, but i thought about the fact that i didnt rest in 6, so i went back to a save and rested and it was the same one, i got draw upon holy might, but when i rested several times in chapter 7 i wasnt getting another dream and ability? is there not one for 7? or does the fact that i got chapter 6s dream during chapter 7 mean i miss out on 7s?

Aha! Aparently what i stated before is true. But! after that I went and finished off the demon at the end of the expansion, which when killed, brought up the little diddy that divides the chapters, and aparently that reset my 1 dream per chapter thing and I dreamed that night and i have another draw upon holy might ability.

You should have 6 total Bhaal Spawn abilities. I beleive that they differ acourding to class and alignment. I often seem to get the last two like one after the other sometimes the first two times I rest after returning to candlekeep.
