I dual weild, so I usually go with 2 different coloured (I'm not canadian, I'm British - so I spell the original way... :D ) sabers. Usually end up with green/silver or purple/silver...

Don't like orange/bronze much...

My favourite Saber colour is blue, like a true Jedi Guardian :) . I like this colour because in a way it relaxes me. In fact in all games I like to choose fighting class characters. So I chose Jedi guardian in KOTOR I, KOTOR II and I'll probably choose it in KOTOR III.

I dual wield usually.

The colours i use are Green as the main saber, it speaks to me of strength of mind and charicter, and Red as the secondary saber, (because i generally play a Grey Jedi, and i enjoy walking the fine line between light and dark).

Edit: Oh yeah, Purple and Orange annoy me.

i like silver and veridian and if i dual wield i usually have both the same colour. found bronze for the first time the other day and didn't really see the point in it as it just looked the same as orange lol.

I'm a stickler for authentic and will only use red (or orange, which is just a variant of red with a golden core). Unless I'm playing LS, but I do that very seldom...

I agree, it's pretty easy to find purple. Which shouldn't be the case...I think the rare crystal colours should be that...so purple should be as tough to get as cyan, or silver, or veridian, etc. etc.

I'll disagree though that orange/bronze is ugly. I rather like that colour when dual wielding with a silver bladed saber. I used it when playing a Dark Sider...thought the orange was kind of unique as a sith colour...I found it to be a bit more aggresive looking than the regular red. As a jedi, i usually use a silver with blue...

I hope in KOTOR III they make you quest for your saber crystal colour...that somehow your actions in the game or the difficulty of the quest will determine what colour you get. Blue and green being the most common, with the other colours being harder to get.

I generally use the colour appropriate to the class I am playing; since I prefer the Sentinel, that would be yellow. I tend to switch to silver, however, after the completion of the trade route quests, as Geeda gets it only then in her stock - it's kind of a well-earned reward.

i think a quest to get your colour crystal would be a gd idea but surely you'll do that early in the game so you couldn't make silver purple n cyan ridiculously hard

Well, there are 2 ways you could deal with that. Have the crystal quests vary in difficulty for the level that one would expect to try it at. So for example, if theoretically in KOTOR III, the average level of your character as a padawan is say 10, then have a quest for a custom crystal that would be extremely difficult, not just physically but mentally (puzzles and such) for that level.

Or, make the crystals available through quests or finding them, but much later on in the game.

1. Only orange is ugly, Bronze is great

2. Definately Bronze fits better here, it should be the real orange, the current orange looks very weak/watered down

3. Yes i've found that too, i love it.

Is it just me, or do orange and bronze both make the saber look like a saber with the Heart of the Guardian crystal from K1?

Orange should look more like the orange in JK:JA...
