my game is crashing, someone please help

hello everyone

my game is crashing even though its worked smoothly for like a weeks worth of game time.

the game crashes on the level where you go to the monastary n kill all those people, iv just killed the boss and spoken with the guy i had to meet, now im running to get onto the boat, as soon as i get on the boat i get a load screen, it loads all the way, pauses, then crashes and goes back to windows, wtf is going on.

please someone help me out.

btw i dont have any of the updates or cracks, patches or watever, its only what i got from installation n thats it.

I believe that was a fairly common bug in v1.0 and one of the primary reasons for the first official patches, which is why I always upgrade to 1.2 - it fixes a lot of the more annoying early bugs.

yrthwyndandfyre is correct you need to patch to Offical 1.2 and Unoffical 2.1a.

Yep, that's the infamous "Society of Leopold" bug...if it still doesn't work after patching your game, there is a whole thread about it in this forum including a how to use the console to get you back into game.
