I got DL when it first came out and just now started playing it. Downloaded the 1.4 patch, but during game play the screen will blink. It just blacks out for a split second but it does it all the time
Could be your Sound, Video and Motherboard (VIA) drviers, need updating.
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
I see the movie at the beginning but I haven't really got that far into the game. I also tried updating my wideo driver, but that didn't help. I don't know but thanks for the suggestions.
The problem may or may not be hardware related. I have a pretty good system and normally I don't have this blinking problem or the related laggy play. Once it did happen to me and I ended up turning off my machine a restarting and the problem was solved. We should remember that when DL first came out there was a big problem with a flickering load screen, which now occurs when the game blinks. If this is a constant problem then it is a probably a problem with your system, if it occurs rarely, I think it might be the result of the changes made to 1.4 and 1.5. I think Damn Snakes had a similar problem too. My only happened in 1.5.
its prob how the game doesn't work will with certain display cards, i've seen this prob in lineage 2, wow, farcry, cs, its like tat weird prob between ati and geforce
