It depends a bit on the game and how effective certain classes will be, but I'll definetely will try to play as a thief-like character. Nothing in Morrowind gave me greater satisfaction than to steal stuff right under the nose of some real powerful NPC's.

ill probably make up my own class again. I like to combine combat, magic and theft. so ill probably be better than any given class.

Definately have to go with the battlemage first time round, then something of an assasin, sniping people from the shadows.

I am definitely going to be thief type person.
Nothing felt cooler in Morrowind then leaping between roofs on a stormy night, off to rob some noble.

I plan using my characters the closer I can to a D&D Bard, or the jack of all trades stereotype.

A mix of mage, thief, and a part time uh... contractor for the Brotherhood.

Mage of some descripition (if there is a substantial improvement on Morrowind's magic system) or a ranger type (the lonely ranger of the forests just is the epitome of cool).

I noticed that in Morrowind, how you couldn't really adapt to one thing after you've been so in tuned with another.

Like going from a fighter to magi is hard on your skills as a player for the controls, you have to learn a few new ones. Or stealth person, you have to learn to sneak around really well.

That's why I always went for a jack of all trades, and even though some things I never used, they were still useful when I did absolutely have to use them.

Custom...

Along the lines of a battlemage, but I disliked having more than 1 melee weapon skill as a major/minor skill...

I want to be a part of the enslaved race of Mushroom people (Mushie for short) whom escaped Dagaroth enslavement when the portals opened and my birthsign allows all women of all races, to crave my Mushroom greatness. :D

Or a BattleMageThief. :)
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

A thief simply because I am going to have to steal a video card if I want to play this game.

Once that's taken care of however, I'll be a fighter based character as usual. ;)

I'll probably be a ranger so I'm gonna have stealth and combat skills. For my race I will probably be imperial.

in morrowind i played as a stealthy orc armed with a bow who could sneak round and snipe from shadows, and it was soooooooo fun. plus, with new elements in the sneaking system its bound to be better this time.

In every RPG i always start with paladin/fighter. because in my opinion it's very hard to play with mage type character when you are playing the game for the first time
