What IS NWN?

I always thought this was a multiplayer only game, but is it also a game in its own right? and the characters, arrethey premade or do you make them yourself? Is the rules the same as in BG2, and the exp cap? When will it be released?

1.Yes it has it's own game.

2. Same as BG you can create your own characters with their own biographies.

3. The rules are 3e (3rd editions AD&D).

4. No XP cap as such so far, however levelling up to lvl 20 takes a long time...

5. When it's done is the official line from Bioware...

You can create your own character, but NWN uses the point buy system insted of rolling your stats. In NWN, you cannot play kits, as they are not part of 3rd Edition.

But you still can be barbarian soceror, or monk. You can also play any class with any race.
