In my game it was just to the right of the chest. Its a brick wall. Just have your Rogue stand infront if it for a while. You can see it even soon if you trun dice rolls on.

How do you turn dice rolls on?

Also, move your men back and forth.. thats how I find it.

    I'm having the same problem.
I've tried everything I can think of with no results.
Is it a bug, or am I an idiot? (or both?)

Dicerolls are left alt key if I remember correctly.
Usually I make my rogue stand infront of the wall in question for a sec.

Dice rolls on are the right alt key, not the left. I walk my rogue back and forth, but usually I do this after I have determined already that there is a secret door there. If you have dice rools on, and you walk your party by a blank door wall (which I always do) and you get no signs of skill checks being made, then there is no secret door there.

you can also use the search skill
of your Rogue to check if there is a secret door.

ur probably searching the wrong section of the wall. u don't really have to use your rogue, some other character with a high search skill will do as well. for me, it's my ranger. i use him to do the search becos it'll gain him experience, rather than having the rogue gain all the experience for searching AND disarm/lockpick.
