Regaining strenght after a shadow attack

Post by crazy-b »

Hey!

I'm currently in the 1st dungeon, and I just noticed that after I won against some master shadows, parts of my party are down with their strenght to like 2 or 3.
I already camped, but this only helped with their healthpoints, not with their strength.

Could someone help me with that? It's pretty dull to run around with only strength 2 characters ;-)

Use a potion or wand of restoration. There is also a fountain of restoration northwest from the Rhonglyn room (it only has two doses left, though). Resting should bring back one point of STR each time.
Jesus saves! And takes half damage!

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough.

Thanks. Somehow, I figgured that myself with the resting, think its pretty stupid because it takes ages. On the other hand, I'm always out of portions and/or wands.
Isnt there any spell that acts as an armor or helps me? The point&click resting is boring.

At low levels, there is no shortcut; the Restoration spell is 4th level cleric spell so you'll need to be at least 6th level to cast it.

Rest is the poor man's method; not a lot of fun but at least time is not a factor in the game.

The next best way to avoid the shadows is to load up one or two characters with armour and rings/amulets of protection or saving throw bonuses (IIRC it's a fortitude save vs. shadows) and beat the hell out of them while your spell casters and archers sit back and snipe. The spell Mage Armour will also help your AC.
