Easy way of getting experience

Post by HANSOLO »

I found this trick when I was playing LS female Jedi Guardian. I think it works on all kinds of classes.U need a couple of mines and some patience. So here's the trick:

For example if u were in Narshadaa docks, then u have to put there some mines. U can put up to 15 mines. Then exit the docks and enter them. Then start recovering the mines and you'll get experience for them. To get bigger experience then I suggest you to put deadly sonic, poison, frag etc mines. I don't no if the experience depends on your demolition skill but I think it doesn't and the bigger your lvl is the more experience u receive. If you're a Consular and don't have the demolition skill to recover the mines then take a party member with u. U can do this trick on all planets.

If u know any other trick like this one post it here.

the trick, i think, is that you have to comletely leave, and then re-enter an area (by completely leave, i mean any place where you have to wait for the screen to load). Doing so resets the mines as newfound xp, or something along those lines. They still come up as "friendly mines" (ie: they won't blow up on you), but they still get you xp, as though someone else laid them there.

Though if you are DS the Infinite Hsiss is an awful lot easier and quicker as a way of getting Infinite XP.

True, but the Hsiss trick must be done on a specific planet, in a specific area, whereas the mine trick can be done anywhere with a scene change. So if you want to do this as early as Peragus, you could.

A fair point. I guess that's why there seems to be a limit on how many mines you can lay at once; to make this trick so boring that most people (like me) can't bear it...
dude i need ur help ya see when i plant the mines then go to pick them up again i get no xp  maybe cuz i did it on peragus mining facility
ah well if ya can figure out what do to i would apriciate it.
also plz ignore spelling mistakes lol
Sry I couldn't reply earlier. As Darth Itchy said, u have to leave the area where u put the mines and then enter it. For example if u are on the Harbringer then put mines there, go into the station, and then enter it again.

By the way how does the hssiss trick work?

yeh in the secret tomb on Korriban, there is a t junction so to speak. The left way goes to Revan and the right goes to the room with th dead jedi. Just go upto the body and click on it. 2 Hssiss spawn in the corners from where you came in and you can do this as many times as you want.
Hmm. Much fear i sense in you. Be mindful of your feelings. Fear is a path to the Dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering ...

@Silverstone2:
If you have a question, either search the forum for previous threads which might have answered the question already, or post a new thread if you can't find the answer.
Do not "hijack" another thread by posing new unrelated questions in it. Please stay on topic.

I'm keeping this thread alive, but removing unrelated questions and answers.

On Narshadaa there is a speeder that needs to be repaired. Get the navigation interface from the droid vendor or shop and install one part. Choose to repair the speeder and it will give you the experience and the part back. Repeat this to gain infinite experience.
I'm not paranoid! Which of my enemies told you this?
Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.
