Any way to stop Ordinators attacking me on sight?

Post by Lord Gnome »

So, when I got powerful enough to kill an Ordinator, using Taunt, I found he had a lot of cool stuff. I wore it all, and this bought the ire of other Ordinators. It was fun to pick off Ordinators legally for a while. But now every damn time I have to do something in Vivec, Ghostgate or Molag Mar all random Ordinators attack on sight. I spent 4 weeks in Caldera, doing nothing but selling items to Creeper, and they're still after me even though I've abandoned all Indoril armour.

Any way to get these monkeys off my back?

In a word, no. You're stuck.

In the future, please use our search function for common questions like these. Saves you time waiting for answers, and the site owner doesn't want thread duplication.

That said, welcome to the boards. Be sure to check out our sticky threads on mods, also the site's strategy guide and walkthrough. :)

After all of the Indoril gear you've sold.. you should have enough cash to have an enchanter create an invisibility ring for you.

Other than that, I can't think of anything.
I have the nasty feeling that once you kill an ordinator and wear his/her gear for the others to see you are up the proverbial creek and minus the proverbial paddle.

If you have the pc version you might be able to stop them by creating a mod.
Go into the construction set and find all the indoril amour. If it has a script on it remove the script. Save and when you play again they may stop. Not that sure though. I hope this is helpful. :)

If you want to use a cheat, there are a few. I have never used them so I am not to sure if they will work for ordinators but you should give them a try.

Just google morrowind cheats and I am sure you will find them.

I don't think this will help your present game, but if you are on PC the mod Dracandros' Voice allows you to freely wear all Indoril armour once you become Temple Patriarch.

This also applies once you finish the game... Which is probably easier, as you would have to get into High Fane to get Temple quests...

You are well and truly stuck!

If an ordinator sees you with the mask or cuirass on they will always attack regardless of if u have the armour or not. There is no way to reverse it.( without cheating, hehehe)
I never knew killing was so much fun
