The Solus GreatSword
Does anyone here like the Solus GreatSword? The sword you get in the shop in north Bowerstone. I think it is one of the best swords to get in the game as its damage is 314, but does anyone like it as much as i do??

One of the reasons I like the lighter weapons is with the faster hit rate you can get flourishes quicker and you have a better chance of getting past their block. The heavier weapons might be better against really big opponents that might have some damage absorb/reduction but in general I prefer the lighter weapons.

Heavy and light weapons.
If totally depends on your opponent which weapons are best.
If u are fighting quick enemys, I'd recommend a light weapon. If u try to attack em with a heavy weapon chances are that they hit u while ur out of defensive stance.
On the other hand, against a slow, hard hitting creature like a troll or a summoner a heavy weapon brings death in a second:devil:, while a light weapon almost crumbles to dust before it has finished off the enemy.
I usually fight with a light weapon, but always carry a heavy weapon in case of some big enemys and because heavy weapons just look more intimidating.
Hope u can stop arguing now

i agree.. bu not onley with quik enemy's, also with a whole lot of enemy's.. so you can hit em and avoid being hit.. with a slow weapon you can kill em in 1 hit.. but will get hit by the ather around you.

Heavy weapons are indeed better depending on the will spells you use with them, Multi Strike with Solus = Ownage. Its all really a matter of prefrence, If you like speed something that is Light and a 1 hander will be your choice but if you like something that kills enemies in 1-2 hits a 2 handed weapon is your choice.
