Graphics trouble

Post by Bighoss147 »

I recently picked up Icewind Dale 2 for 10 bucks remebering how much I enjoy BG1-2 and IWD1. The game works on my computer smoothly but there are few small graphics glitches that are driving me absolutely insane.

First off, around the edges of still black unexplored land the edges are a bright green pixely color instead of black. Sometimes the backgrounds of characters isn't synchronized with the actual area I'm in. It creates a small rectangle around the individuals which then sways back and forth, it gets really confusing when my characters are fighting in close quarters since some will appear in other characters background squares. Also it seems my characters have mastered the moon walk, rarely do they actually face the way their walking.Anyone have any idea what's causing this?

I have a decent computer:
2.6ghz Pentium 4 Processor
1gig of PC2100 ram
TI 4200 Geforce 4 64mb.
I've played around with all different ingame graphic settings and resolutions and still nothing's changed. Any idea what could be going on?

Updates and graphics settings

Try this patch.

Use Icewind Dale 2 configuration and adjust the settings.
Check the options in the game and adjust those settings, other than that, you have stumped me. It shouldn't be difficult.

But, funny little birds, they had no wings!
O what shall we do with the funny little things?
