Grandmaster Alchemy

Does anyone know where an aspiring alchemist/theif can aquire some grandmaster alchemy equipment, I already have a grandmaster mortar and pestle, and stole the retort from the telvanni trader (I turned it in for a 1k to Bid Helende so unless I try and pick her pocket i need another retort.)
Any help would be great.

i didn't even know there were grandmaster alchemy stuff util i found a mortar and pestle in balmora at the nalcarya of white havens. Otherwise i don't know where to find other grandmaster stuff. Sry

The Master Alchemy trainer has a whole set that can be stolen...

The Valenvaryon Polypropylon Chamber. There are also a couple of pieces (can't recall which ones) in one of the Red Mountain citadels.. not sure precisely which citadel though

There are one or two pieces of grandmaster alchemy equipment in Vvardenfell, but no complete set--at least, not without a mod.

I have found a set in the above-mentioned area every time I've played..
Unless one of the mods I always have installed is putting it there???

Not Sri's, no. But it would have to be placed in the game. Are you using that mod which adds private quarters and a central teleportation room to each Mage Guild, for the Archmage? He put such a set in place.

Hmm.. No I'm not...
I'll have to go through my list of mods and see if I can't narrow some suspects down. Most of what I have are things like shops, textures and tweaks...

Ah well, I'll have to worry about it later, must help with dinner

No, the complete set in Valenvaryon is in the original game. The Mournhold Magic Shop also has a full set.

Mournhold, yes. But are you sure all 4 pieces are in Valenvaryon, without either add-on?

I was seriously wondering which of my mods could possibly be causing that, and then I thought maybe I was losing my marbles and imagining things

In Balmora, at the alchemist you can find one or two pieces of the set.
