Missing Trader in Knothole Glade!
Missing Trader in Knothole Glade!
Tattoo artist
Ok, ive been playing TLC and when i go to knothole Glade, the tattoo artist is no there. His booth is there, but i cant find him. The booth is not for sale either. Is there a side quest i need to do before he appears? I have played the old Fable, and it never happened in it. Anyone else had this problem?

I've been looking for the trader who sells armor in Knothole Glade. I assume he would be the one by the gate, where the anvil and fire is, since I've checked everywhere else in Knothole Glade (I think). Problem is, there's no one to trade with there, near the entrance gate, except the tattooist in the adjacent stall. I thought maybe I killed the trader on a Witchwood trail, so I've been waiting 7 or more game days for him to appear near the anvil. No luck. Any ideas?

I think both merchants are among the people you see outside the gate when you do the balverine quest. If they get killed by balverines, then you have to do without them.

My current game doesn't have the tattoo-ist, but I didn't let any of the people outside the gate get killed at the start of that quest.
I even killed off all of the villagers and let them respawn, and I still don't have a tattoo-ist. I did notice that with this game save, I can buy all 3 barns when I empty the town of villagers. My other times through TLC, I could only buy two barns (but I had a tattoo-ist). Weird.

People, read what swc wrote. He is exactly right.
You may not think you did, but you could have been too slow, or you accidently did one too many enflames. The fact is, those people died there, and they cannot come back. The reason you can buy the barns is because the person that owns them was killed outside the gates, so he doesn't respawn either.
Sorry, but you can't fix this problem, so it's either wandering tattooists, or one later in the game.

In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

Well.. Say you kill the guy that owns one of the shops in Oakvale.. Spend a night in Bowerstone (or whatever), and then, when you go back, there is a new guy owning the shop. Same goes for houses.. So why dont anyone respawn to take that shop? Even like 100 days after the balverine slaying..
Having the same issue with the blacksmith in Knothole Glade..
