Oblivion Questions

Post by mr.goalieman »

I had these questions in my mind for a couple of days. Can you roll? I thought I read that you can roll. Also since enchant is not a skill, is it a mini game like lock-picking? Are there pauldrons? Or is it part of the cuirass? What keys do you use on the keyboard to move your character and use your magic? These questions are bothering me. Can anyone answer them?

Rolling needs a higher level in athletics or acrobatics, i forget which. As you move up to novice etc. you can do more rolls, I think. Enchant is still done at enchanters, just that you do not have to worry about the effect of the level of your enchant skill on the success/failure of enchanting process and the possible loss of your soul gem. No shoulder armor at all. I think you're right, armor seems to have sleeves now, like the movie gladiator. I like the basic set-up. I use the w-s-d-a keys to move and kept c for activating magic.

Is third person easy to play in? I will probably use first person, but I was just wondering. Also what are some of the new spells they added to the game? Can you buy separate gloves or boots? Or are they bought in a pair? Can you fail casting spells? I have one final question. Do you need an enchanted weapon or silver weapon do attack certain enemies like scamps?
