I know this is rather idiotic, but i've spent a good amount of time looking for it and cant seem to find it. When the guy was talking about it I kept clicking and didnt really listen to him. Does he say where it is? Anyways Im stuck there and need some help, if anybody will tell me.

You need a word to open it. Without the word you could have passed over it already without knowing. If you haven't talked to Nottle yet you definitely need to explore a bit more.

Click on Nottle's book for the password to the Tumbledown door.

From the Merchant where you can buy junk, head south, under the arch, and then hug the right hand wall until you see a glowing emblem on the ground, guarded by orcs. The dungeon, big as Texas, awaits.

Wooly's has got it right. It's BIG!!! Actually, Alaska is bigger, so I will go with that for a frame of reference. :) I'm still not off the first dungeon level, and I've been playing quite a bit.
