Hawkeye Skill

Post by Worsel »

Hi,
I purchased the CE version of the game and it updated my 1.3 version. I was wondering if the Hawkeye skill now works? In the previous version it did not. Love the game.

I believe it does. Whether it is worth taking is another matter. The only skill that doesn't work is alchemy.

I have hawkeye and it works, every skill works cause I have a character for each class so I could have the skills and test them, it seems they all work fine.

hi, i was condsidering taking the ranger lord, and i was also very skeptical about a power that instantly kills things from a range.

this is my guess at what the power does....and im being pessimistic, cuz games would never let you instant kills things often

it probably does not affect the high end monsters, like fire drakes,
right or wrong?

it no doubt has a percent chance to work based on your lvl, and i bet it probably takes more skill points to advance than your regular skills, probably very large amounts to get the skill to ten or more, like steal, i noticed that takes alot to increase
right or wrong?

i also am guessing that the percent chance that the power works is fairly low, even at a high skill lvl. has anyone ever taken shots at a monster and gotten an idea how often it works? one out of every ten shots?
one of out ever twenty shots?
something in between? or even less chance ? :)

ok thxs for any replies, interested to know how reliable this power is.

I seem to recall something to the effect that the chance of the skill triggering goes up as the health of the enemy goes down, and so you might need to ping away at an enemy a while before you get an insta-kill.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Yes all the skills work even alchemy I have tested them all with various characters and classes.. So all the diabolics DO work.

Yes they do drop what they are supposed too in the collectors edition you just have to find the right spot they died in try hunting around the area where they fell because the hawkeye skill does knock back when it activates.
