I had learned of the invisiblity save bug so I Decided not to take a rogue with but regretting it now incredibly... Too many Chests I can't open!!! and it takes a helluva time to get from 2-3 . first person that levels gets a Rogue level now .....
My team
Chaotic Evil Elf Sorceress, Alia of the Rainwood Trees
True Neutral Half-Elf Cleric, Lieth of the White Plains
Chaotic Evil Dwarf Fighter, Loth'Sidric of Midnight Peek
CHaotic Neutral Half-Orc Barbarian, Argoth of K'Nor
Damn , I just noticed I don't have any good players ... lol , Oh well.. Gonna start over again soon probably anyway , Let me hear what your teams are

My first and current team:
level 3 fighter
level 2/1 cleric/fighter
level 3 rogue
level 3 sorceror
From what little I have played, it looks like a good rogue will be a necessity. A lot of traps and locked doors/chests, just in the Main Halls.

You will run afoul of both a common misconception and a family of bears.
I just started the game and my party is with out a rogue too. Can't you just bashe the chests open? Or are there chests where you can't open that way?
My party:
1. Dwarf Fighter
2. Half orc Monk
3. Human Cleric
4. Elven Sorceror
too bad they did not incorporate the knock spell for the sorceror class.

All part of the rush to production . . . that along with the wizard, druid, and bard . . . and the ability for your scout to move more than 10 feet from the main character . . . and picking your own feats and skills.Originally posted by Lorsadan:

What surprises me is that the game's been in production for roughly two years (that I'm aware of), so it can hardly be a "rush" job, in fact. Yet I agree, it certainly feels that way: no female images for many races, a very short list of available professions, etc.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I have :
Barbarian (gotta love 'em - that cleave thing is awesome - I tried several fighter variations, but this barbarian just rocks)
Cleric (can't really do this game without)
Rogue
Sorcerer
There are some messages you won't see if you don't have a rogue (also applies to rangers).
So..I'll probably dual-class the barbarian to a ranger.

I got a message on the screen (like one of the text boxes when you read a sign) that said something like "Your rogue notices that the barricades look like they were hastily constructed by orcs to keep someone out."

Right, but it appears that message just serves to enhance gameplay and not related to minor or major quests.
But before I entered that dungeon my chractors raised to level 2, so I put one level of my sorceror class into a rogue class. So I have a sorceror/Rogue just in case a rogue is a necessary class for a party.
