In a review, someone wrote
"The turn-based nature of Ruins of Myth Drannor also lets you more effectively cast spells than you could in the frantic, dynamic real-time skirmishes of recent D&D games, and the game's interface highlights each spell's proposed area of effect to facilitate precise targeting."
Is this something you can turn on and off? When I cast area affect spells, it gives me no indication that it will display the area of affect. Anyone have any clues?
thanks!
Area Affect Spells
When you select an item or a spell with an area affect and you are aiming, move your cursor around - as you go, you will see the affected areas shown in red - so you can tell exactly who's going to be affected and adjust accordingly before you fire. And you're not restricted to aiming at a specific individual - you can point the cursor anywhere in the room and know who will be hit.
