I'm new here and I have a question. I've searched around this forum and others but haven't found an answer.
Ok, so I made a fighter. Once I finished the first dungeon I joined the fighters guild. I was wondering which class to take next. I decided to take adept because I liked the idea of being able to heal and use magic weapons.
So where the heck is the magic weapon skill? I don't see it anywhere. Wasn't I supposed to gain the abilities of the adepts once I took it as a class?
I decided to make an adept just to check, and sure enough the adept came with magic weapon.
PLEASE tell me you don't have to START as a mage or adept just to be able to use magic weapons!
I can't tell from your post: Did you only accept the quest to become an adept, or did you actually complete it and become an adept? You won't get the class bonuses until you complete the quest.

Hmm...well I cetainly didn't do any quest. If I need to do a quest to actually take a second first tier class then that probably explains it.
Now, do I remember getting a quest? No. I'll have to check the log and see. Can anyone tell me what the quest is just so I can be sure I have it? I'd appreciate it!

You have to place the candle of stars in the celestial shrine north of Fargrove. On the way to Arindale you should be making a side detour to Bolen Feilds if you talked to the chamber maid upstairs in Davemores castle she told you about the girl that works at the Inn and she in turn tells you that Ellowyn departed for Bolen Fields. On the way to Bolen Fields is a sign leading you to the Tower you place the candle in to join the celestial order. and Tada your adept class will be activated as soon as you report to the next celestial temple.
I don't see it anywhere. Wasn't I supposed to gain the abilities of the adepts once I took it as a class?
