hey kittens and ducklings!!

i have made my very first vampire masquerade music video!! Its about Jeanettes embrace, and her introduction to the world of vampires. Its my first, so go easy on the critisism. its basically just a test of frapps and skin mods. tell me what you think

I like that - its pretty good

I like the way you have taken bits of each opening scene and managed to put them together without it looking like they were not the same scene. Its really well done.

i can't think of any at the moment - its a bit early in the morning to think lol. but i'll let you know if i come up with any ideas

Really quite nice. It's a shame V:TM:BL doesn't let you clear away all the on screen info like WoW does, so you could have a clean shot rather then having blood charts and health bars and "Got Chop Shop Key"... But unless someone can think of a way to edit that out of the video and replace it with something else, I think it's done quite well.

Also, your atristic vision could use a slightly bigger CPU I think. But both these points don't detract from the general niftyness of the video itself.

Maybe for the next one you could do the story of 4 vampires... By making 4 different PC's. Two could be in love, but be members of rival clans fighting for territory. The other two vampires could be their sires watching over them and trying to make sure they don't do anything stupid, and eventualy the feud kills the two younger vampires an...

BTW: geeze!! You stop at the last drop don't you?? That guy was about ready to topple over dry as a bone! Wow!

That was actually quite cool. How do you use NPC skins anyway, and does it bug the game any? What happens when you meat Jeanette in game, does it just look weird or does it crash?

I wouldn't mind using VVs skin for example, or even just one of the random street girls.

How about when you using different clothing? What does Jeanette look like in police uniform?

1. your idea sounds kind of like romeo and julet ;P i like it, but i would know how, lol

2.And yea, draining humans till im sucking on a dry artery is good fun

3. i dont know like, anything about somputers or anything, so whats a bigger cpu?

I only knew how to do jeanette because people used it as an example, if it wasnt for that id have no idea. id love to play as susan also, she is quite attractive isnt she?

i had this big conversation with some guys about changing into jeanette, cant currently find it, but you need to install a vpk pack, to unzip all your files. have you got one of those?

check that out to play as the ivory daughter of janus

(im a malkavian, thats insano talk for jeanette, like susan is for velvet)

and you cant mix the outfits, jeanette stays in jeanettes clothes, as do all the others, you can only change your chacters

You can also change the clan skins - so you can make malkavian look like a tremere, with all the tremeres different clothes etc. (i do that a lot as i prefer the tremere look to the malkavian one lol). it involves replacing the skins for your character with the skin for another. if you do a search on this forum I'm sure there are several threads explaining how to do it.

as for another video - you could do something based on the whole venture tower thing with lacroix at the end (with the sheriff and lacroix and the explosion and stuff). Not sure what the storyline could be for it though.

Really nice movie, inspired me to try to make the same, although with normal character skins, showing my Toreador going through his foes with his trusted katana in his hands.

Again, nice movie, the choice of music feels right, and the editing is also well done. keep up the good work!

Frankly, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it was possible to splice Jeanette seamlessly in like that. Incredible piece of work. That must have taken roughly half an eon. I liked the score, too. Nice choice. Now to ponder variations for a time.

I found this on another thread - an easier way to do it, once you have jeanettes skin as your vampire's skin, is just to change a few names apparently

Extract the clandoc000.txt file from the Vdata/system/ (it's located inside one of the packs, can't remember which sorry!)
Open it and change the following lines:

"F_Body0" "models/character/pc/female/malkavian/armor0/malkavian_Female_Armor_0.mdl"
"F_Body1" "models/character/pc/female/malkavian/armor1/malkavian_Female_Armor_1.mdl"
"F_Body2" "models/character/pc/female/malkavian/armor2/malkavian_Female_Armor_2.mdl"
"F_Body3" "models/character/pc/female/malkavian/armor3/malkavian_Female_Armor_3.mdl"
"F_Body4" "models/character/pc/female/malkavian/armor4/malkavian_Female_Armor_3.mdl"
"F_Body5" "models/character/pc/female/malkavian/armor5/malkavian_Female_Armor_3.mdl"

to:

"F_Body0" "models/character/npc/unique/santa_monica/Jeanette/Jeanette.mdl"
Edit: Forgot, if u want to change the appearance of a clan(other than Malk, ex toreador, goto the lines with female/toreador/ instead.)

This method is easier and it will make ur character able to frenzy, EVEN with a changed skin.

That was pretty cool. In fact, it's inspired me to play the game again. Excellent choice of music. I could easily imagine Jeanette playing something like that in the Asylum.

Hmmm.. I wonder if there's a way to change what music the game plays.....
