I knew it! I never saw the smoke escape, so it hadn't gone, it was simply hiding.

Yes, you did suspect that. I am not so sure. Smoke is generally fairly cooperative. If it was hiding it must have had a reason. Did you spot the ferrets? They may have "borrowed" the smoke to aid their war against the bunn-ays?

It is difficult, DJ. We do not know the extent of the plot. At first I thought it was just the inherent nature of ferrets; they run along the wires quite happily for ages, then all at once they decide they have other priorities. And I was prepared to accept it was random, just general thrawness. I still think it used to be. But with re-emergence of the duckies.......Ferrets eat dehydrated food. Coincidence? I think not :speech:

And it is telling that they have managed to divide the members of SYM into pro- and anti- bunn-ay factions. There have been very few bunn-ays about recently, too. They have been gradually fading from view. That must mean something.

I will think more on this, but I have to go to work. You will have to take emergency steps to hold the status quo meantime. It may already be too late
