2 questions(Fargoths gold)&(Land deed in vivec) SPOILERS

1. Fargoth gold. (seyda Neen)How do you start this quest off?

I have spoken to Fargoth, but he says he knows nothing about it.
I can see the gold&a cup in the tree trunk, but when I try to click it nothing happens.
I have waited till 10pm,but Fargoth never turned up.
Please help

2.Land deed (Vivec.) 5000gp is alot of gold, should I just steal it and kill
if anyone attacks me or do I have to work for it????
Is this part of the quest where your character gets his own house?

for (1) you have to go to the top of the lighthouse like the guard (the one who gives you the quest) tells you to and watch him go to the tree trunk at around 10ish. then when he has gone again you can go and get the stuff.

can't help you with (2) cos not got that far yet.

The land deed is part of a Theives Guild quest...
