Lost - Key of the Dead

Anyone,

In the first room of the Dwarven Dungeons I obtained the Key of the Living and the Key of the Dead. I first opened the door of the dead and then closed it and saved my game. Now it seems I can't open the door again (the key is gone but the door will not open again without it). Could this be a result of the save game bugs I have been hearing about?
If so, is there any way (besides restarting the game) to get the Door of the Dead open again? Is there any way I can get the Key of the Dead back in my inventory (manually, etc..)? I would really like to explore that part of the dungeon and I know of no other way in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

it's a bug alright, but not the save game bug, otherwise u wouldn't even be able to load the damn thing. i suggest a restart although i haven't heard of any1 with this problem b4.

I cannot get past 'Door of the Dead' either. I've just kept playing and playing. Is it necessary to complete the game? I would hate to have to restart the game now. I have heard there is a new patch coming out in mid-December that is supposed to fix 'many issues.' I would like to get beyond the 'Door of the Dead.' I don't know if I ever had the 'Key of the Dead.' The table on my game is not searchable or smashable.
