Help! Need a weapons proficiencies chart!

Post by rekker »

I'd really like to know at what levels each class gets an additional point to spend on weapons proficiencies. I have a kensai-mage, dual class, with 4 points in longsword, and she's level 9/11. I'd like to put points into katanas since I just found the Celestial Star, but I don't want to put a point into it if I'm not going to be able to put any more points into it in the future.

I know she gets a point at level 12, but how many more will she get before she hits level 17?

Check the charts in the back of the manual...

I always put two there while my char is a Kensai (before dualing to Mage). Image

The chart shows up twice in the book, but it only shows the effects of the different degrees of specialization.

The charts do not show how often each class gets points to add to their weapons specialization.

I need to know how many more points I'm going to get before I waste this point on a weapon I will never be able to take advantage of.

Anyone else know?

Even one point, for the right weapon, is better than three points for the wrong one.
