Well not very often. But they are good ones when you do. Only sometimes a little oblique for a simple soul like me :p

Didn't I predict they'd do exactly that? :D

I saw a small bit of Newsnight, where Plymouth University had undertaken some polls and the Conservatives seemed to be doing badly. Newsnight were interviewing the Shadow Chancellor and said how bad it would be for the party to lose more seats to which he replied that the party would gain more seats and how happy he'd be to go into the studio the day after the elections to prove the poll wrong!
Yeah, that'll happen... :p

Yes you did. But saying it is not the same as doing it, you know ;)

Well it is a funny thing but I have noticed that the day after any election every party spokesmen explains that it is a victory for them. So far as I can tell elections are like the race in Alice in Wonderland - "Everybody has won, and all must have prizes". And we play Alice

Well, as long as I don't have to go into politics now... :p
It's a pretty predictable move though.

Do they also take candy from babies? :p

Post by Fiona »

No. Candy is bad for babies. They take babies from parents in possession of candy, nowadays :(

They only have our interests at heart. It is a touching concern for children's health. We should be pleased and proud to have such politicians
