Instead of bothering with them go do the Nocturnal quest from the D shrines and all your troubles will be solved. I believe there is a thread here already covering all the options where they can be found, just search back a few pages.
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.

Sorry I wasn't more clear, the lockpicks are a bit further down.

The D shrine, yeah, me and my shortcuts, that's why I can't read anything later on .. .anyway ... I meant Daedric Shrine, you know like good old Azura etc. The shrine is - across the water from Leyawiin, then up and a little bit to the left. Highlight to read.

We also have a thread here about where all the shrines are if you don't feel like looking for them (though I kind of like wondering about and discovering it on my own) - click here.

ya the nocturnal shrine will solve everything...u wont regret it at all....all u gotta do is go up the road from leyawins east gate and follow the path until the statue icon appears on your radar...its probably the easiest shrine to get to

in a nutshell: they are quest for the daedric gods who give you daedric artifacts in return of doing the quests.
I know offtopic, sorry.
