Trouble with mage guild recommendation *SPOILERS*

Greetings everyone,

I'm having problems with the Ardaline quest in Bravil. I was asked by Kud-ei to talk to Varon Vamori but all says (after using speechcraft) is that its difficult to talk about, but that he did speak to her but never laid a finger on her.

Going back to Ardaline or Kud-ei seems to do nothing. Does anyone know of a console command to fix the situation or is there something I'm missing?

You should have received a spell scroll from the guild leader that makes Vamori more friendly. Be sure to cast that on him, and then speak with the guy.

yes u recieve the spell 'captivate' but u can use any other charm spell i belive... after that u just need to go to Talos district and find where the buyer of the staff was...u can steal it by picking a lock to get it or buy it for i think 2k not sure...

Thanks for everyones help, and I think I found the solution to the problem - it seems I missed the downward scroll on the the branch head, d'oh.. so hopefully I should be able to figure out the rest on my own.

Thanks for the head's up Nizurel. That's the second time I've missed the downward scroll on the branch head. Hopefully this is the last time!

It worked fine for me without the scroll... Just make him like you a lot... It's easy if you have high speechcraft
