help with the law!

when in my travels i found one the shrines of the temple in the north of morrowind in sheograd i went in a small shack and killed a priest and stole a book written by some guy in the temple. my crime was reported and i now have a bounty of 50 000 gold on my head. i have enough money to pay for the crime but every time i go to a gaurd they attack and don't give me a chance to pay for my crimes. what should i do, please help.

Get one of the Thieves Guild operatives to take the bounty off your had. I know there's one in Vivec and one in Balmora. I don't remember where the other two are.

there is one in ald'ruhn too and i think there is one in sadrith mora but not sure on that last one as not been there yet.

as for the guards, if the bounty gets too high or you try running away then they start to kill on sight. i also think some crimes are kill on sight crimes too.

Yes the other two are in the Rat in the Pot (Ald'Ruhn) and Dirty Muriel's (Sardith Mora)

Once your bounty goes above a certain amount, you have a death warrant placed upon your head which is probably why the gaurds are atacking you on sight.

Thanks for the help guys,
theres one last problem im having...I am not a previous member of the thieves guild and when i try to join all of the guild stewards tell me im not up to their standards, all of the skills the theives guild requires i have as misc. skills but they are all over 50, i am playing morrowind on my xbox....if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Someone else had the thieves guild problem (rookie I think). search for "problems joining thieves guild" with the search function.

We don't want thread duplication.
