Can't get back into Fargrove

Help! Someone please tell me that I don't have to start this game over! I have completed only 2 quests (just started) and when I came back to Fargrove I was told by the guard that some Captain was now in charge and I was not allowed back into the city! I have a moonstone but didn't have the chance to activate the Fargrove Moonbridge yet! Does this mean that I am screwed? If there is a way to get back into the city, please let me know! For that matter, do I even need to get back into Fargrove right now?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

You may not have yet completed a necessary plot quest. Which quests have you completed? Have you placed the horn and spoken to the wizard again?

Complete everything in Arindale, talk to Emmindor, put horn in Talendor vault, talk to Emmindor again, did the quests in Ulm, Talked to Graemare in Bolen Fields, Now you can get into Fargrove.

Can't back into Fargrove

I haven't completed every task and quest in Airendale. One of the ones that I've been given is to defeat a monster in the Northern Steppes. However...I can't get to the Northern Steppes without going thru Fargrove which I can't do.....or can I? Is there way to go around Fargrove in order to complete that particular quest? I wasn't able to activate the Fargrove moonbridge before being locked out! Also....I have the horn, but where do I do with it? Is this another quest?

My main problem is that I cannot access any areas east of Fargrove, therefore I can't complete any quests in those areas! Any advice?

You don't need to go to Fargrove or east of Fargrove yet, so don't worry about the quests that lead you there. Just do the quests that take place in and around Arindale. Once you've completed those quests, you'll be allowed back into Fargrove.

yeah... try and finish every thing that is east of fargrove i think it has to do with finding that girl

to get through you have to do the main mission w/e that is

once you finish the house of lords mission w/e you do dont go in there again

i did and i got stuck and i had to start the game all over

that sucked casue i only had 1 save point and i saved it once i got in there i was an idiot back then
