Drowned Nations
Drowned Nations
According to the walkthrough, the Bronze Sphere needed for Pharod's quest is at x 4140 y2160, which is in the area of the Silent King's guards. Can't find it. Need some advice.

The bronze sphere is actually located down below the drowned nations. There is a stairway, to the right of the main enterance, which will lead you to a lower level. There, somewhere, you should find a dead Collector, near two of those big grey things (can't remember their names). If you search the corpse, you should find the sphere.

To be more specific, if you're still dealing with the Silent King's guards, you're still in Dead Nations, not Drowned Nations. You can get out of Dead Nations by doing a bit of work for Hargrimm the Bleak, or by finding out the Silent King's status by teleporting in by charming Stale Mary. My preferred solution is to charm Stale Mary into telling you how to go see the Silent King, then complete Harrgrimm's tasks, and get leave to go freely, then teleport in according to Stale Mary's instructions, and you can get access to the Silent King without Hargrimm or Mary finding you and telling you not to tell Many-as-One, so I think that you can go tell Many-as-One about the Silent King, and get a memory and experience without an alignment shift toward evil, and then you can have Many-as-One attack you, and then kill enough rats that he eventually "sorta" gives up -- the rats keep coming, but the room stops casting spells.
But... uh... that was a bit of an unnecessary diversion. The point is, once you've gotten Hargrimm to release you, by doing his quests or by finding out about the Silent King, you can move on to Drowned Nations, the entrance to which is right near the entrance of Dead Nations from the Weeping Stone catacombs.
Do you have to charm Stale Mary before doing Hargrimm's quests? Because I raised my Charisma through some quests then cast friends on myself, came back to talk to Stale Mary and she still ignores my questions about the Silent King. So I could never get in.
Yes. You basically tell her, "I really wanna go, so I need to beg the Silent King to release me! Pleaaaase?" It doesn't make much sense for you to ask her that when she can just say, "huh? Hargrimm already told you you can go. Why do you need to see the Silent King now?"
Basically, for my route, you do things in this order:
1. Charm Stale Mary into telling you about the portal.
2. Complete Hargrimm's quests, getting him to release you.
3. Go to the portal and beam into the Silent King's throne room.
However, it's not really that important. If you did 2. first, then you can go ahead with the rest of the game just fine. It's just a slightly munchkiny way of getting more experience without becoming more chaotic evil.
